A young couple commissioned an extension to their recently acquired four-bedroom home in order to accommodate the needs of a growing family. The project centred on the creation of a spacious open-plan family room incorporating a custom-designed kitchen, to complement and enhance the property’s contemporary character. Lantern rooflights introduce abundant natural daylight into the deep-plan space, while carefully selected matching brickwork ensures the extension integrates seamlessly with the original building. The completed scheme provides a generous and welcoming living environment ideally suited to modern family life.
