OUTDOOR SHELTER . NORTH WARWICKSHIRE & HINCKLEY COLLEGE, NUNEATON

We were asked to consider a providing a design for an outdoor student shelter at the Nuneaton campus. Something more interesting that a bicycle shed was suggested. The concept explored opportunities to create a welcoming and contemporary social space where students could gather, study informally, or take shelter throughout the day. Consideration was given to the use of durable materials, natural light, and an open yet protected form that would integrate with the wider campus setting while enhancing the overall student experience.
